Why this tweeter
A bullet is a horn: the throat concentrates the energy instead of spreading it. At 110 dB it needs a fraction of the power a dome needs for the same level.
1.27" / 32.4 mm wound with CCAW aluminium wire. A big coil is why this one takes 150 W RMS and keeps going.
The motor is what turns watts into movement. Eight ounces on a tweeter this size means control, not just loudness.
95 mm across, 47 mm deep, half a kilo. It goes on the A-pillar, on the dash or on a kick panel, aimed where you want it.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Never connect a tweeter without a filter. A crossover, or at the very least a capacitor in series: full range straight from the amplifier will destroy the voice coil in seconds. This is not optional.
- Cross it high and check the manual. A horn tweeter is meant for the top of the band only. Use the minimum crossover frequency printed in the factory sheet and never go below it — and if you are not sure, write to us before you power it up.
- Keep 4 ohm per channel. Two tweeters in parallel on one channel give 2 ohm: most amplifiers heat up or go into protection.
- 110 dB means you need less gain, not more. A bullet this efficient will be louder than the rest of the system: attenuate it, aim it slightly off-axis, and stop before the amplifier clips. Clipping kills tweeters, power rarely does.
